Fashion face-off (Part-1)

While no B-townfashionista wants to be caught wearing an inspired dress, or even worse, the exact replica, of something already spotted, sometimes they end up doing just that. Here's a look at some fashion duplicates from tinsel town.

Maybe designer Ramona Narang and producer Krishika Lulla have the same personal shopper, or they really love each other’s style. Even their clutches are similar!! Whatever the case, these LBD soul sisters do look good in their respective ensembles!

Jumpsuits are still making their presence felt among fashion lovers. Our cameras caught actors Raveena Tandon and Shahana Goswami flaunting similar-looking blue jumpsuits at two different events. While Shahana’s jumpsuit looks a tad bit big for her, Ms Tandon fits very well into hers, complete with a ‘few-inches’ waist. Way to go Raveena!

What’s with the latestfascination for blue pants teamed with white uppers? We caught actors Ileana D'cruz, Bipasha Basu and Khan-sister Arpita in B-town’s latest fashion must have.

Television personality Rakshanda Khan and jewellery designer Shaheen Abbas too sported the blue and white ensemble. Bips’ red heels and Rakshanda’s pretty white-ruffled shirt scored over the others, we think!

We were not awed by thisunflattering dress. And to find two people slipping into it, came as a bigger surprise. Actor Tisca Chopra and Miss India Jasleen Kaur, time to hunt for a skilled personal shopper.

Contemporary prints have sure found a following in B-town, as actor Dipannita Sharma, star host Mandira Beds and celebrity nutritionist Pooja Makhija flaunted their drapes in style.

There's no missing the similarity in designs between actor Deepika Padukone's red and jewellery designer Shaheen Abbas's pink, anarkali kurtas. While both the ensembles are pretty, we kind of over like Dippy's daring red and gold, over Shaheen's pretty pink.

Actor Bhagyashree and author Shobhaa Dé's daughter Anandita turned up in their yellow bottom at two different events. While we were happy that Bhagyashree acted her age and wore a somber shade, we kind of dig the neon yellow Anandita wore, which she matched with same colour earnings!

When fashion heavyweights Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla released their coffee table book India Fantastique, Bollywood stars came out in their full regalia to show support to the designer duo. And there was a heavy smattering of their signature style on the celeb ensembles. Actor Tabu and Bachchan bahu Aishwarya flaunted deeply set flower prints at the do. Find out who else was wearing similar designed ensembles at the event.

It was none other than actor Amrita Singh and Bachchan family girl Shweta Nanda. They both wore white-based, intricately designed ensembles. While Amrita flaunted an anarkali, Shweta chose to wear a lehenga at the event.

Bipasha and Celina Jaitly sport the short and long version of the same lace dress. While Bips paired her short-sleeve version with black pumps, Celina we think added pizzazz to her ensemble, with those dark red lips.

Actor Nargis Fakhri wore the blue sari, with a armour-ornamental blouse at the IFFA red carpet, and Vogue magazine's India Editor Priya Tanna followed it up later at the magazine's beauty awards.

Designer Rocky S had his hands full, with Shamita Shetty and Suchitra Pillai on each arm, flaunting their black numbers. Our vote goes to Ms Shetty who though has only minimal make up on, is armed with a better-fitted dress and a dazzling smile.

Actor Amy Jackson and Zoa Morani flaunted the same-to-the-last-thread lace dress. We liked Amy's version better, where she broke the monotony of black with her red heels.
